Don't ever go here! I saw the man with glasses write down my order for Saturday, November 7 at noon. Yet when I got there on Saturday at noon, they acted as if they had no idea who I was, and didn't even recognize my name. They claimed they had written down the wrong date, even though I SAW the man write down the correct one. They offered to make a cake for us in an hour, but what can the quality of a cake made that fast be? Also they laughed at me. They are very unprofessional. I had my mother call them and complain. If you do not want to waste your time, don't bother with New River Cakes.
I chose to order a cake from this bakery because of the great ratings I found online. I also wanted to support a local bakery instead of a chain store. However, after 2 phone calls and an email with no response from them, I chose another bakery in town.
I have ordered 3 cakes just this summer for birthdays that have been excellent, I have 2 ordered for my daughters birthday next week. I have been pleased with all their work!
Best cupcakes me and my wife have ever had! I'm not normally much of a cupcake or cake person. I always thought it dry or tasteless. Turns out I like cupcakes just fine. I just hadn't had any good ones before.
