Great arena. Went to a volleyball game and enjoyed it a lot. Plenty of seats for home and away fans.
I went to the Donald Trump event today and it was the most unorganized event I’ve ever been to in my life. First they stop letting people drive over there to park & shut down the bridge. Once we got down in there we saw there was at least 30 to 40 open parking spots & they could have arranged for other parking areas or bussed people over. There was absolutely no security outside of the building other than a few policemen or security blocking the streets. With all the protesters it could have been a major issue! Plus, they should have had someone one there to monitor all the ones cutting in line. They let people in with NO tickets & wearing shirts supporting other candidates from the opposite side! After waiting in line for an hour and ½ people started storming towards the building. So, the ones at the back of the line got in first. There were a lot of older folks there and people were pushing and shoving to get to the front of the line to get in. It was ridicules! Then somehow the protesters got on top of building!! They had to be escorted off. This was a paid event and the Dedmon Center should be ashamed of the way they handled things! Someone could have really gotten hurt!! I hope Donald Trump hears about this and comes down on their butt!
