I think it was a big mistake to make Radford responsible for being the MAIN sorters for several areas. The USPS closed that part down in Roanoke and moved it out-of-state to North Carolina!?? For those of us in Dublin--if we get a package we must go to Radford to pick it up! I think Radford has their hands full b/c if you miss your package delivery it is NOT going to be ready after 4pm at Radford that same day. Never has. It is best just to wait it out until the next delivery day, though this can cause problems for some. Also-- they NEVER pick up the phone. Never. Ever! Dublin USPS picks it up quickly, so I know it's possible! The staff are courteous though, behind the counter. Sadly, they often dont know much about the happenings of the company b/c USPS doesn't tell employees anything!! This is the MAIN POST OFFICE in the area. If you can make it to Dublin USPS--go there.
Best post office around. Always helpful with packages and the office is alway clean and looks great.
I am now a local and feel that every time I go to this Post Office, I am met with great, quick and friendly service.
